Do Norwegian political parties have a cancer policy? We'll get answers from a panel of key politicians. Welcome to a morning of breakfast and cancer policy, as we invite you to a breakfast seminar in the series on the Future of Cancer Treatment!

How do politicians approach cancer as a policy issue? How do they envision including (or excluding) cancer patients, prevention, and the development of innovation, technology, and business based on cancer research in their new party programs? Is cancer a topic they discuss as they create their new party platforms?

And why is cancer important for general health policy? When we talk about developing healthcare services, we often start with drivers that come from working with cancer diseases. We talk about new methods, gene panels, screenings, and care pathways. We want more personalized medicine and more clinical trials. We aim to use technology and new treatment methods to increase capacity in healthcare services.

The meeting is part of the series The Cancer Treatment of the Future, and is a collaboration between the Norwegian Cancer Society, Oslo Cancer Cluster, MSD, AstraZeneca, and Janssen. The moderator is Thomas Axelsen, Head of the Policy and Public Affairs Section at the Norwegian Cancer Society.

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM
Meeting starts at 8:15 AM.
