Christine Wergeland Sørbye

Christine Wergeland Sørbye oversees the development of the innovation district Oslo Science City. Sørbye holds extensive project management experience from the City of Oslo, including writing the city’s official campus strategy for developing Oslo into a knowledge capital and business friendly city. Sørbye holds an advanced MA in Education from the University of Oslo, where she specialized in leadership, organizational theory and didactics.

Katrine Vetlesen

Katrine Vetlesen joined Oslo Science City in June 2022 from the position of Vice President Energy Innovation & Programs at Energy Valley. She has been responsible for establishing Energy Valley’s innovation platform; developing the cluster’s transformational ability and innovation systems. Katrine holds a degree in civil engineering within telecommunications and a MA in business development and strategy from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU and has also attended the master’s programme for innovation managment at the BI Norwegian Business School.

Hallvard Kvale

Hallvard Kvale holds a PhD in contemporary history from the University of Oslo and has extensive experience in research and knowledge communication. He has previously been Head of Communications at the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board and at the Institute for Social Research, in addition to serving as Special Advisor at the Research Council of Norway. In 2020, he co-authored the book "Fremtidsmennesket - hva den bioteknologiske revolusjonen betyr for deg" (Reinventing Human - What the Biotechnological Revolution Means for You) with Sigrid Bratlie.

Selma Lyche-Campos

Selma Lyche-Campos previously served as a research technician at the University of Oslo. She earned her master's degree in biosciences from the same university. Her past roles include consulting positions at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the HR Support Department at the University of Oslo.
